• 2nd December - Crafts for Christmas - an Advent preparation

• 6th January (The Epiphany) - 'Follow that Star'
• 3rd February - World Music (Carnevale)
• 2nd March - Reclaiming the Body for Prayer (exploring prayer and movement)
• 6th April (Good Friday) - 'What's Good about that?' - Meeting at Black Mill, on The Westwood Pasture, Beverley
• 4th May - Circle Dancing
• 1st June - Celebrating Summer - meet at Burton Bushes, on the Westwood Pasture, Beverley

Creating Space for God has been running since September 2009 with a varied programme, chiefly, but not always, in a reflective mood.  It draws from a variety of Christian traditions (and none) as well as inspiration from other spiritual sources, but within the context of the Christian faith.

The sessions are held on the First Friday of every month (apart from a summer break) at 7pm at Norwood Methodist Church, Beverley, East Yorkshire.

Previous events have included 'Taize-style' worship, worship inspired by the 'Iona Community', 'World Music', 'Movement and Dance', 'Poetry, Prose and Prayer', 'Prayer Stations', 'Ignatian meditation', 'Praying with the senses' and 'Remebrance'.

Our next session, entitled 'Songs for Summer',  is on Friday 3rd June 2011

We shall take a break during the summer, but will return in the Autumn with a new programme.
